Hi all,
Currently on day 11 of my fish-less cycle on my new red sea nano G2 Peninsula tank. Very excited!! I had a biocube years ago but mostly just kept two clown fish and no corals. Had to take it down when I moved states and then never got a new saltwater tank because my job had me traveling a lot. Got a new job with less travel and I got into freshwater a few years ago and have been running a high tech 10 gallon freshwater planted tank for 2 years now but got the itch to jump back into saltwater as well. Hoping to keep a mixed nano reef this time around. Have done tons more research and feel much better prepared than I was 12 years ago to keep a saltwater tank. But I’m definitely still learning and I’m sure I’ll have tons of beginner questions and hopefully some of you will take pity on me and answer them. Hahah
I’m also looking to make friends in the hobby in the Los Angeles or SoCal area. So definitely drop me a line if you are in the area or know of any active groups as I would love to meet other people in the hobby because I know I bore my family and friends when I get start talking about my fish tanks. Anyway thanks for reading! I might post some updates on my build out and post progress pictures. Would love any advice or suggestions through the process!
Cheers,
Spencer
