Hawkfish and Carpet Nem Compatability

I haven't added any fish to the tank in quite some time, and I really like the personality of Hawkfish. I was thinking of adding one (likely a Flame), but I was concerned that it might try to perch on the carpet nem and become an expensive meal.
Thoughts?
