After many years out of the hobby, I have finally decided to jump back into the reefkeeping world. My main inspiration was our newborn daughter, and (hopefully) the joy it will bring her to look at!

I am starting this build off slow to try and take in all of the new tech/methods that are out there as I go along, so bear with me!

I picked up this super unique 80 gallon ELOS from a local reef club member in Atlanta for a KILLER deal that I just couldn't pass up. I picked up the tank, stand, and 20 gallon sump on 4/30/22. I was super lucky to find it! Since then I have been cleaning the tank and sump when I have the chance. Went the vinegar and water route on the display, and water with muriatic acid on the sump. Hopefully by the end of this week they will be looking like new!

I plan for this to be an SPS dominant tank, but there is no doubt that I will not be able to hold back from my beloved Zoas and torches.. So, it may be a mixed reef after all!

Equipment List:
ELOS 80 Gallon Display
ELOS 20 Gallon Sump
2 Radion XR 30s
Gyre XF250 & XF150
Eheim 1262 Return Pump
