I have a micromussa that was developing what I thought was a feather duster tube. The tube is now covered with new polyps, but there are these strands emerging from the tube so I think must be a vermetid snail. Is there any way to deal with it? For example, by grabbing these strands and pulling them out?

I also have a leptastrea it appears to have a vermetid growing right out between some polyps. Is there a reasonable way to deal with this without harming the coral? These are the only two vermetid I see in my tank, and it would be great if I didn't see a third! 20230903_140555.jpg

Superglue the holes, the corals can grow over the mess afterwards.

I hope you get them all.
