Hanna Checkers... which do you recommend?

Personally, I have the Alk (dkh) and Phosphorous checkers. Those are always my two must-haves.
I may pick up another one or two.

Which Hanna Checkers do you recommend and prefer to use over the standard liquid test kits?

i use the Hanna calcium instead of Red Sea, it gets a bad rap but I think it’s fine

I was really excited when the LR Nitrate checker came out but then I watched a video of how to perform the test. There is no chance I am going through all of those steps to check nitrates. The HR nitrate checker is a single powder reagent.

so far what i have read many folks are likening it with the new powdered reagent and state it's very close to their other test kits...

I use the HR Nitrate and ULR phosphorous but I'm kind of disappointed with the alk reader. I feel like I get more consistent results with my red sea kit.

The issues appear to be fixed. I got the original checker that had problems. Now that they fixed the reagent issue I think it may be my favorite checker since I never liked having to watch for color changes like the Red Sea and Salifert Kits.

My only gripe is you have to hold the button down to start the three minute timer. I've run into the issue with my ULR Phosphate checker where I will either forget to hold the button or I bump it and then the test is wasted.

I have 4 but the must haves are the phosphate ULR, alk, and Nitrate HR and now that the issues have been settled with the Magnesium I plan on getting that one as well. I use the calcium and it works but am skeptical with all the negative comments it receives.
I just like the digital display, no guess work required.

If you run a qt tank with copper then the copper checker is a must have also.

Depends on what kind of coral you have. But for stony coral:
Alk, cal, nitrate hr, ulr phosphate. You can get the magnesium one, but the salifert kit works good, and is obvious when you reach your number.

The calcium Hanna checker uses the smallest tank water sample size, so following the directions completely is a must, but it is consistent if done correctly.

Salinity so easy to use for quick test or water changes very accurate
