Hello guys. I have a few questions. Just aquired a hob comline doc skimmer 9012 DC. I have a 120 gallon reed tank but no sump.

1. Question one. Should my cup in the lowest mode be filling up in 2/3 hours?

2. Is it properly setup from what you guys cant tell?

Just dumped the cup and it wasnt that dirty (just a light brown) so im confused why its feeling so fast

Not familiar with that particular model but the clear liquid means the unit is over skimming. This could be for a number of reasons. Where is the water level set in the skimmer body? I would lower that if possible for starters. Is this a new unit? If so it could take a few days to break in.
