Bummer. Looks like bailout for some reason. No signs of bjd so wondering if polyps were too close to rock? Water parameters are good and flow is low and lighting seems fine.

Alkalinity (dKH) = 10.8
Calcium (Ca2) = 543
Magnesium (Mg2) = 1565
Nitrate (N03) = 8.6
pH = 8.1
Phosphate (P04) = 0.10
Salinity = 1.025

It’s mid tank. Running two XR15 g6 with ab+ template at 40%.

You have a lot of swings in your parameters based on your tank tread. I would start there. Coral need stability.

Often this happens from stress and mainly from too much flow, low calcium and high phosphates- a couple things to check

You have basically no par running those lights at 40%. I run my 2 XR15 lights at 100% intensity on AB plus setting to get reasonable par numbers

I saw Mag high ( you want 1350-1400) and CA - you want 420-460
How are you testing ?

Ok sounds good.. I assume water change is the best way to lower a bit or let it happen naturally?

Both, they are just elevated but not critical. If you are dosing then modify your dosing levels. High alk with low nutrients can have a negative effect on corals and of course light par too. Try and get alk in 8 range, cal 420 and mag 1450.

Updated parameters... I am slowly increasing intensity. The other head seems fine. Also checked PAR at this location and sitting at about 100 so obviously too low. Odd the other head has not had an issue.. or maybe that is coming. :)

Salinity = 1.024
pH = 7.9
Alkalinity (dKH) = 7.7
Calcium (Ca2) = 499
Magnesium (Mg2) = 1370
Nitrate (N03) = 14.6
Phosphate (P04) = 0.10
