Very new to saltwater tanks. I have a few things growing on my live rock and was hoping someone could identify it for me.
New tank 1 month old, 10g nano tank. Test results have all been good and within the recommended levels. See images of growth attached. Also noticed a bunch of clear looking stars on my glass

I see what looks like dying green hair algae and possibly chryophytes, a nuisance algae
Pull as much as you can by hand and reduce white intensity a few days and add some pitho crabs and chiton snails as a start

Thanks for the advice I’ll give pulling it out by hand and reducing my white intensity (just making sure this is the lighting?)

The “clear stars” are hydroids (they typically go away on their own after a while). Great photo there of that one’s tentacles - if you get a picture of the bell/umbrella (hydroids like this are like jellyfish with tentacles and a “head” like a bell) you might be able to ID it to the genus/species level.

Scrspe off the glass with edge of annn B old credit card or similar into a net and discard
Any on rock - aim water flow towards them, not at them and they will soon starve

Depending on the source of the rock, not at all unusual

you may have other fun stuff pop up - have fun
I must admit watching new things pop up from the LR I got from my local fish store has been very interesting. Even though there is no livestock in the tank its been fun to watch week to week.

Thanks to everyone for the great responses.
