My wife has accepted a position with ECU.I don't about Greenville itself, but honestly eastern Carolina seems to have died down when it comes to the saltwater arena. I'm pretty sure there are a few LFS stores in Greenville. I think Sweet Pets is closed, but apparently there is a new one called Ward's aquatics that looks pretty good and I would like to check out some day. More often than not I drive to Raleigh or Wilmington for LFS stores. The one's in New Bern, Jacksonville, and Havelock are pretty **** crappy. I've also bought some decent coral from a guy who lives in New Bern named Marc. His business is run out of his home and is called Above Average Corals. He has a Facebook page if you want to look him up. Also for some local trading/buying check out Carolinareefers.com the buying/selling section really seems to be the only active section on the forum though. I'm not a member of Carolina Fish Talk, so I can't say much about that. There used to be a decent reef club for eastern NC, but it kind of fizzled out. Unless, of course, you mean like dance clubs, in which case Greenville is the spot to be. Hahaha. I went to ECU for a little while, and had many a wild night out there. Haha.

Well I joined the Carolina Reefers site as well. How is there a dang Petco but no decent shops....arrrrrr. Even though I'm somewhere between a month or 2 before I'm able to move that way, my mind has already went to the planning to move my tank stage. Erin do you make your own water or buy it from someplace? His webpage hasn't been fully set up. Send him a message through his page on Facebook and he'll set up a time to meet with you. I learned about him through the Carolina Reefers forum and have gotten a few great pieces from him. His prices are also extremely reasonable and he's a great person to talk with about the hobby. So in a sense you do show up at his house and shop, but it's scheduled haha. I believe he will also ship, but I could be wrong.

There's some great disc golf in that areaThere are some decent ones around Charlotte, not exactly close but could be worth the trip
Doesn't sound much different from here, except they are prepared for ice and snow. Thank you btw.Winters are pretty darn mild. It gets cold, but it's not terrible. (Granted I grew up in New York, where it's bitterly cold in the winter.) When it does snow or ice though there is really no maintenance equipment for it, so it can get slick and dangerous quickly. The summers are hot and humid. The humidity is definitely the kicker. Right now it's 91 degrees, but it feels like 105, and the humidity is 64%. (which is down from last night, it was 82% humidity). Spring and fall are warm.
So 3 flakes and people flip out, great lol. As long as ya'll drive the speed limit and not pokey puppies I should be fine.Duke there is a place in Clayton which is not that near to greenville but not that far either called reefkeepers . They have a Facebook page also . The guy "bill" is very knowledgeable and also travels around the world from what I was told to do seminars . He is pricey but he won't sell you junk or fish that are not healthy . BTW welcome to North Carolina when you get here . I think you will find the people very friendly .
P.s. three snowflakes and people can't drive here lol .
