I'm interested in identifying this type of algae. It's been in the tank since introduction, and only grows when I allow it to grow. Could it be a type of less-invasive Bryopsis species? It doesn't spread too much, although it can appear in different parts of the tank. You just have to yank it out of the base, where it grows as a single rooted base. It has strong stems and roots, unlike GHA. Is Cladophora another possibility? In any case, thoughts appreciated!
