We're new to reefing and have little experience QTing fish. This led us to take a shot on Dr. Reef and we couldn't be happier.

Our initial order consisted of 1 Bangaii Cardinalfish, 1 Orange Spotted Blenny, 1 Fire shrimp, and 1 Halloween Hermitcrab. The fish were super active when they arrived. We followed the Dr.'s acclimation instructions and added the fish to an isolation box. We kept them in the boxes for a short time and they were already eating within a few hours. We've had them for about 3 weeks now and the Blenny has become the star of the tank.

The inverts didn't do quite as well. The shrimp died the day it arrived and the hermit crab shortly thereafter. We contacted Dr. Reef right away and received great service. WE lost the inverts, but I would not hesitate to order from Dr. Reef again. In fact, we have another order on the way!

The service has been great and the communication has been consistent and smooth. As I said, we're new to reefing, so we've had a lot of questions and gone back and forth on what we want. On top of that we've had to change our delivery dates due to work travel and an unexpected death in our tank (I screwed up with a phosphate reducer and killed our beloved Yellow Tang). Honestly, I think we've changed our minds like 5 times and the customer service has been super patient and helpful.

So, if you're considering placing an order or looking for a place to get quality service and great QT'd fish, then give Dr. Reef a try. Type Dr Reef into the search bar, and you'll see a hundred other posts just like this. We're customers for life.
