While in HD today getting a toilet flush repair kit, I saw this hanging next to them. Would this be OK to use at tweezers? My concern would be what ever the metal tongs were. They were black. It held fairly tight so not a delicate thing but would work good for food pieces to get down to the bottom without getting the hand wet. It's meant to use as a snake to retrieve hair and crud so it should hold up. Anyone have one of these in use?

Probably spring steal and will rust up pretty quickly. They do make long tongs or even a grabber like that but out of plastic specifically for saltwater tanks.
