Good luck with the switch!

Thanks

Kinda funky when you read that link, but seems like dialing in a cal reactor.
Just dosed the 55ml.

Have you started your residency?

Not until July 1st! Tank is on autopilot now but I'll keep it and the rock and hopefully it survives the move!

GoVols: All - For -Reef, log of the day

Reef has a very slight haze over the past two days, but to be expected to since we're adding a carbon source, (reproductive bacteria) should fade over time as the new bacteria finds a home to bed down in.

Due to running GFO, phosphates came in at .018ppm / Thanks to @HolisticBear we have 500mls of NeoPhos coming in on Tuesday.

Still a tad dHK drop in the last 24hr period, so raised All For Reef's dose from 55mls to 65mls.

All inhabits still looking fine and are stress free.

From viewing Apex Fusion, ph is staying nice and stable from day to day.

Where is your residency going to be, are you staying up north during that time?

Alright...

The new bacteria haze was gone last night, when I got home from work.

Getting real close to dialing in / dosed 70ml of TM A-F-R last night.

GEO's main reactor's media is pretty filthy / second stage with the tiny ARM is spotless.

Going to rinse the Reborn in the main reactor, adding more media to both stages.

lol
BTA is gone, but my scape looks like crap-ola... ;Sour

Losing the big green acro colony (to the bta) is a bummer... :(

Sorry to hear about your acro colony Freddie, since you are a veteran reefer, I am sure it will not be an issue. Have you think about growing an LPS on top of the acro skeleton? it could look good.

Dumb question but can you use it for media in your reactor?

Sadly one of the issues when owning BTA's. Not only do you get the gift(s) of splitting randomly you get the joy of finding one to move which can impact corals in the surrounding area. Mine moved and wrecked one of my test frags :( . Oh well. the joy of BTA's.

Thank you, Pancho

I'm going to cut it of the middle of the Setosa, and let the Setosa fill back in.

Yeah,
Lets crumble him up, and put him inside the GEO's media.

That way if I fire back up the cal reactor, there will always be a piece of him, inside the other corals

:)

Thanks, Fadi
We've had the Regal for over two years and sure love it.

Purple tang 3.5 years.

The Achilles spooked me awhile back, but it wound up being a scratch to one of it's eyes, and it fully recovered. I did some inside tank maintenance and it must have got dinged up during that time.

For awhile it was swimming sideways, to one side, I guess it was using one eye to navigate... ;Wacky

We've had it for just over one year. Loves LRS Reef Frenzy and Sallies Seaweed Salad.

Gotta give Ray @tsm corals kudos for shipping us such a healthy specimen... :)
