Good lord.
Not even sure where to start with this.
Purchased a kh keeper plus in mint condition & was previously very impressed with my other RF bits e.g pH meter/doser.
Upon receipt I was slightly taken a back by the build quality.
This thing looks like it was put together in an arts & crafts therapy session!
Unfettered I followed the guide to the letter calibrating, priming & weighing reagent with chem scales.
Sadly, all I got back was a standard "reagent out message"
32 tests in sequence were performed(I'm sad, I counted) & despite recalibration, new reagent, trying another brand new probe & various other tricks including salifert comparison nothing, NADA, no dice.
Having tried again once more this morning & having fired yet another email over to RF(who responded once asking to see my pH probe & never replied to pics) I decided to reset & recalibrate once again with brand new tubing.
During this process I knocked the unit very gently which fell from a height of 5 inches onto a soft carpet & promptly cracked across the top.
As stated this is purely my experience & I'm very happy with other reeffactory items but this thing is genuinely the worst made, most finicky piece of garbage I've bought in many years in the aquarium hobby.
If anybody wants a non working, superglued KH keeper let me know.
I'll give you a fiver to take it
