I’m looking to start buying coral online but most sites I look at have exorbitant shipping unless I spend like $300 in livestock. Are there any coral vendors based in Atlanta/Georgia that can ship in-state for a cheaper rate?

Best to just save up to buy a lot at a time to get the free shipping. Even if you find one in Georgia, its not the distance causing the high price. Its the packaging components to maintain temp and up-charges from the shipping services for live animals.

Understood, I found one called reef shac with shipping that is only $25 which is about $10 less than most places, so I was just curious if there were other similar vendors

Honestly the buy/sell forum on here is a good place to check. No hidden fees or overcharges. Smaller hobbyist frag operations are usually pretty honest and not hiding any overhead costs in the shipping fees.
