Hello all, anyone ever had this problem where your gonipora just randomly decides to not come out for a few days in a row?

What type of flow?
They need good indirect flow and take well to coral foods.

With medium light. Similar to acropora needs with chemistry stability.
Ime anyway

I’ve had it for 4 months, everything else in my tank is good. Only thing that changed is that I’ve been feeding frozen with medication in it to help treat internal infection in clown

What meds are you dosing? I have dosed metro with focus with no effect on corals. But i also feed with a syringe to limit what corals eat. Assuming internal parasites or the like, What day are you on with meds?

Perhaps to be sure its not a water column biological issue dosing a bacteria for a week.

API general cure with focus, day 2 or 3.

Prazi in the general cure might be the culprit? Honestly that’s guess work not experience though. If corals are being effected by the meds in food i would treat the fish for the rest of the 11-12 days of treatment outside the dt. Perhaps @DSC reef has more thoughts on this.
