What are you guys feeding your Goni's (if anything specific)?
Are you target feeding or broad cast feeding?
It depends on what you feed.
I have different types of food for coral.
1. Reef Roids. I prefer direct feeding. So I'm sure my corals has eaten. I feed twice a week.
2. Coral-Vitalizer from Korallen-zucht (drops) You can’t feed directly.
3. Zooton and Coral Snow from Tropic Marin. You can feed directly or spray. I spray.

Guys, your goniopora photos are just awesome. Like many others, this is one of my favorite corals.
I have had bad experiences with them in the past. Now I ventured again with two fragments of red goniopora brought from a trip to Austria.
I would like to see more photos and information from those who have goniopora for more than a year, conditions and feeding.
When they write about the reaction of the coral to feeding, it is usually the tentacle covering the mouth opening.

In this video, 2 different gonioporas, one with long tentacles, the second with short ones and both have different feeding responses. I have both with short ones. When I spray reef roids over the goniopora pointwise 2 times a week (I turn off all circulating pumps for half an hour to give the corals to eat so that the feed does not wash out), my gonioporas mouth swells very much, which protrudes longer than the tentacles.
Interestingly, this is such a response to feeding?

Interestingly, this is such a response to feeding?

Here is a photo of my gonis immediately after feeding. The mouth is extended and swollen. Does anyone have such a reaction to feeding?
