Hey guys,

So as the title says I'm going to be heading down to RAP in Anaheim this August. I plan on driving there and it's going to be a 6-8 hour drive. I'm staying at the same hotel the expo is held at and need to know how I can keep the coral or fish I buy alive in my room over night (about 24-36 hours).

I'll be driving back in the late afternoon the next day and also need some advice on how I should go about doing this as well.

I basically need to keep some of these guys alive for 2 days.

Thank you!

I think most vendors are willing to hold the coral until you leave, assuming you are leaving on Sunday while the show is still going on. As for the drive, just have a cooler to keep them in for the drive. I've had no issues keeping them bagged up for 12 hours.
I actually bought a mushroom at aquashella last year. I had probably a dozen bags floating in the tank and 1 of the mushroom bags apparently got behind the skimmer and I didn't notice it. About a month later I bought a few things at the LFS and had them floating. When I went to empty the bags I noticed one of the bags was covered in algae. I then realized it was a bag from Aquashella. I opened it up thinking I would be hit with a horrible death smell but I wasn't and the mushroom was fine. It hadn't even lost any of its colors.
