Going from LPS dominated tank to Softies only tank

Hello everyone. For these past few months, i’ve been busy for works & i neglected my nano tank. GHA started to grow on the sandbed & rockwork, corals not extending like before, its such a heartbreaking experience for me. So i’ve made a decision to give all my LPS to a friend.

Been thinking of restarting my nano by keeping only softies. But i dont have much experience & knowledge about it. So i want to ask dear fellow reefers here, is softies are really forgiving about a minor changes in water parameter? And how about trace element dosing if i’m away from home for few weeks, do i really need to dose it? Thanks in advance

I keep softies, LPS and sps.
U don't dose anything.
But I belive that softies don't use most traces.

Mixed reef....Only dose Kalk everyother day.......its doing ok....complete softies would be super easy....just keep eye on Iodine...maybe dose once a month a capfull.....

I’ve never tried to dose anything other than TM all for reef. Btw, nice tank u have there mate!!

Thanks....120G, running a skimmer, HOB refugium and 3 FX6's filled with LR rubble
All for reef is good also....i go on business trips all the time, for a week/2 weeks...etc....tank is pretty much self-supportive...kalk is pretty much the only thing I do, and TBH, I sometimes can't be bothered do doe that either for several days LOL....

IME - I think that if you plan to have only soft corals you can keep the tank running without any issues only with regular water changes
