I got a new small convict tang. He is picking at the rocks buy not actively eating. Only other fish in the tank is a pink streak wrasse.

I have tried small portions of selcon soaked PE mysis and just now dropped a 1/8 of nori rubber banded to a rock so he can pick at it. The tank also auto feeds once a day a little bit of flake food.

I got him yesterday and he seems much more adventurous so hoping he comes out of it and starts taking food soon.

But any ideas or help would be great

You can try vitality or garlic guard to soak the food in it. It makes it smell better for them and want to eat it. But if you just got him, hes probably still acclimating into the new enviorment. Hope he does well!
