I kept a 5' x 18" x 18" mixed reef aquarium from 1998 until the tank crashed in 2011 due to various issues that popped up one after the other. Sold the fish and got out of the hobby.

Tried to get back into it in 2017 with a nano but never even got through the ugly stage due to a worm burrowing through the silicone. I took it as a sign and called it quits again. Thankfully the only thing in the tank was sand and some pre cycled rock from my LFS.

Now I'm trying my luck again with a CADE S2 900. Tank is currently cycling and in a few months I should be ready for my first fish. I'm figuring it should be a wrasse(the first of three), because dang worms to hell after what happened last time :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
