I recently purchased a german blue montipora digiata from world wide corals. I have had it for about 2 days and it does not want to open its polyps. all my other corals are doing fine. I would really like to know what is happening since it is a really nice coral. It is also supposedly a easy coral to take care of, so i dont know what i am doing wrong. Please let me know so i can fix this problem. my parameters are:
alk - 7
ca - 490
mg - 1600
nitrates - 5
phosphates - 0.04
also the coral is ontop of an arc, a little less than halfway the height of the tank and it is really close to a wavemaker but slightly infront of it, so it is getting good flow and pretty strong lights. I have 2 Neptune Sky's running at 75% intensity for 10 hours with a 30 minute ramp up and ramp down period. I dont think it has to do with my lighting schedule either since all my other corals are fine, but i am open to suggestions. thank you all in advance.
