Hello everyone , I'm excited to join GEO family !
I should be getting my new calcium reactor in two or three weeks from today.

This is my first time working with a calcium reactor in reef tank .
The model is CR618 gen 3 + secondary chamber .

I always dosed DIY balling 3 parts for Alk , Cal and Mag , including in my current system .

I heard a read a lot of exllent reviews on GEO products , especially on their calcium reators .

one thing remains to me not clear :
What is Pull method ?
I want to understand it correctly, especially when GEO official website highly recommend to connect this type of reactor in Pull method.

Never heard of the "PULL" method, but suspect they are referring to the use of a dosing pump to PULL the effluent through and out of the reactor (Creating a VACUUM) inside of the system instead of pushing water through the set up and creating pressure inside?

I have a Kamoer pulling effleunt out of the reactor but I also have a little bit of pump pressure pushing water into the Calcium reactor so that I do not get any CO2 build up over time.

But like I said, never heard of a method, push or pull?

I think it is theoretically possible.

I think the Kamoer with all of the flexible hoses isn't a good pressure pump perhaps?

The Metering pump pulling allows the best results (reliability) with the least risk of accidents?
