My group of Genicanthus lamarck are spawning this evening! I’m trying to get video but they seem to prefer spawning as the lights ramp down and my camera hates low light. But its very interesting to watch, the male and his three females are chasing every fish in the tank away and then swimming to the surface taking it in turns to spawn, he flares his fins and shimmies really fast, a female then joins him and they both shimmy tighter and release eggs and sperm.

Never new this species spawned in captivity, it’s wonderful to witness.
