Galaxea question

Will my galaxea kill whatever is growing next to it? I think it's a mushroom but I was also wondering if anyone can Id this.

Depending on where the flow takes the sweeper tentacles yes. They are pretty aggressive and the sweepers get really long.

It's a lovely coral just look for a place where he can't sting all sorts of corals around it.

Yeah…I had one for many years that just got so big it killed everything on the Rock it was on.
