hi, my tank is 3 months old and recently had a Bryopsis infestation that also only grew on the glass. It looked completely different than the algae here. I dosed reef flux and the Bryopsis was gone in 3 weeks. Now there are these clumps of brown stringy/fuzzy algae, along with a hefty amount of green spot algae(par for the course as ive been slowly increasing my Coral lighting). Just want to know what this brown fuzzy stuff is, and if there’s anything I can do to prevent it. It also smells rancid. It seems like it has new growths since the bryopsis died off so that’s why I am hesitant saying it’s dead bryopsis. Thanks for any help!
