Moving out of state to a house with no room for my 150G tank. Selling entire set up, but need to sell all fish and inverts first to break down the tank.
The 150 gallon tank (72" X 18" X 28") is a dual overflow tank that was purchased in 2021 to replace an old 125 gallon tank. The cabinet it is on was completely refinished by my son and I in 2019. New floor within the cabinet, new 2X4 vertical support inside, and complete exterior refinish/restain. A 40 gallon, 3-chamber sump sits in the basement, with piping running through the wall down to my equipment room. This has enabled me to have a lot more equipment than would have fit in the cabinet alone. I've made my own live rock sculptures, but also have over 200 lbs of Marco reef rock to go with the sale. There is also a 40 gallon quarantine tank and associated powerheads, heater, etc. that I will throw in for free.
I am attaching a spreadsheet that lists the equipment I have that would go with the tank. I have a few pictures of the setup downstairs. Pardon the lack of pristine equipment!
At this time, I am not interested in selling individual equipment pieces, which I expect would end up with a lot of orphan equipment. The entire setup has been in use since 2019, with much of the equipment added throughout the past 3-4 years. It is easily a $10K setup, but I will sell everything for $2K or best offer.
I am in the further western suburbs of Chicago. Too much to even try to ship, I think, so looking for local buyers who can pick up.
