Our niece’s youngest two boys stayed overnight with us. It turns out one of them threw fruit snacks in there. They remind me of gummy bears due to their shape. The dye has mostly worn off as can be seen in this picture.
The sugar part doesn’t worry me as much as the dyes used to color them. The water is as clear as a bell so no big bacterial bloom as of yet. Everyone’s swimming normally and even the feather duster, as can be seen, has its crown out and looks totally unfazed.
Soooo should I be worried or is everything ok now that the fruit snacks are out of the DT? There weren’t any fruit snacks in the sump so that’s good.
I know I’m not the only one this has happened to. I think that, since this was caught before the fruit snacks could altogether dissolve, everything should be ok. I just want to make sure there aren’t any issues I’m missing. Thank you.
