Hi everyone, hope you’re all doing well. I need some opinions and advice! I attached a video of my new frogspawn coral, I want you guys to let me know what you guys think as far as it’s condition, it doesn’t look like it’s fully open and I’m trying to figure out why. Do you think it’s getting too much flow??

Ime frogspawn do well in many areas of the tank.

Ime they do not do well in direct flow or being Moved to high par too quickly, large alkalinity and salinity swings and do best with no3 around 5-10ppm po4 between .01-.1
What are your parameters? Type of light? And a fts for powerheads

also cant view the video. I cheat i post on youtube and post the youtube link on r2r lol.

Do you have a suggestion to how much par they should be receiving? My parameters are 400calcium, 7 alkalinity, and my ph is at 8.

If you shut you flow down for a day or two you will see if your frog will open. Then decided if it's struggling
I turned my wave makers all the way down so the glow is at the bare minimum so I’ll see what’s going on with them, I appreciate the advice!

Any progress on the frog
It’s looking good! It’s definitely opened up a bit more so I’m excited to see how it progresses in the next couple of days. Thanks for asking!!

Mine is getting around 180 par give or take but is receiving low flow currently and it seemed to open more but I’m wondering if maybe it’s reviving too much light.
