Did a dip before placing Zoas and green stars and these came running off? Can someone help me id and let me know if they are friend or foe? Thank you!

Looks like a brittle starfish to me. Nothing to really worry about. People buy them and put them in their tanks sometimes.

those little guys are awesome, I have many that came on live rock!!! they will help eat excess food, and look cool at night..
