Can you use an old quarantine tank that had some copper in it as a frag tank? How would you clean the copper out of it?
Maybe. You would want to fill it and then run cuprisorb until copper tests zero. Might be good to send out an ICP test to be certain the copper is gone. There are anecdotes that silicone can hold and leach out copper, not sure if there’s any validity to that. Obviously don’t use any rock or sand that were treated with copper.

recall that a standard ICP test will show you how much Cu in your salt water.

I for one would soak and rinse several times, run a Cu Hanna test and probably free pretty pretty safe.

Run some carbon for belts and braces

best of luck
