Hi Folks.
I picked up my first coral frags today. Super excited to get going now!!

ill these frags given their position on the plug and placement in the rocks grow and spread properly?

They aren’t glued down just yet. Have to pick up some Gel.

What I would do is snip off the bottom part of the plug off so all you are left with is the top disc part so it is flat which makes it easier to position and glue down for you.

Or even with some of the hard corals with a skeleton you can gentle remove them from the frag plug and glue straight onto the rock so you dont see any of the plug.

Okay cool. Thanks. What would I use to snip these? They seem pretty hard. I'm worried I would damage the frag. Would super sharp garden sheers work? I don't think I have any cutters in my tool box big enough for these.
