Have you guys heard of this frag-loc thing? Supposedly it is a new way to secure frags down without glue. The person is selling the idea alone on ebay and making $20 a pop on it.

Anybody want to share with me? :)

aqua-mags.com has a much better way to mount frags, they work great for sps; growth has been great for me, i think that getting the frag out into the flow helps it immensly

The maker (kyroguy) does have some pics of what seems to be the frag-loc. White pieces below the shrimp.

Whew, expensive but cool looking...
:D
Laurie

i agree they are pricey, especially when bought in bunches, but magnets are expensive, especially strong ones
Those are awesome looking, anyone have zoas on them???

I know someone locally has attached zoas with them, as you can see in the pic below, they are strong enough to hold a rock with the oregon tort on it, and its in a whole lot of flow, basically a 6100 is glancing off the back wall up at it.

ditto on those magnet things for frags. i've seen twons and they are pretty cool.

got a link twon? i want to buy a couple to try out. i'd like to mount some caps on the back wall or something to get them out of the way.
At our reef meeting in august two members brought a box of them to give out as samples, and i have since bought a dozen more. I was planning to pick some up this week from him, so lmk which strenght magnet you want and i can get him to meet us at atlantis when we go up there. no shipping charges.

From what I can tell of those frag locktite thing a mabobers ist that they are basicly just
Those little flower thingies you get with a single rose that holds the water.
They are hollow, and the stem plunges throuhg a star shaped cut thats flexible so that ever your putting in there cant come out easly ( like finger cuffs)
