Fluval 32.5g Freshwater for Saltwater use?

I found a very cheap Fluval 32.5g freshwater tank, I'm looking at the specs of the Saltwater v Freshwater versions on the fluval website and they seem to be near identical besides the internal hood light. I'm not sure if changing out the Aquasky LED to a Marine 2.0 is possible/been done before? If anyone has any insight on turning this tank into a saltwater compatible one, that would be very helpful!

I have the marine version. Lots of threads to read. I think most who have this tank get the “Intank media baskets” for filtration. As for lights the marine 3.0 fits but you need to order the correct one (without support arms). I believe the aquasky light is sub-par, par-don the pun.

I started up a new all-in-one fluval flex marine 32.5. I’m using the factory 3.0 lighting and hood. I‘m still cycling the tank. The temp fluctuates between 79 (no light) to 82(with light). 82 seems borderline high to me. I’d rather not remove the hood permanently. Anyone else had this concern...

Yeah, thats why I plan to put in a fluval marine light
