Flukes?

Do you think this is flukes? Appeared overnight, just on his left eye/nothing on body, no other fish showing any signs, no scratching/acting normal/eating well. Has had it for several weeks. Thought it might be an injury.

Neobenedenia flukes cause a sort of cap like cloudiness to both eyes. With one eye affected it is more likely this is an injury that just hasn’t had time to heal.

Neobenedenia flukes cause a sort of cap like cloudiness to both eyes. With one eye affected it is more likely this is an injury that just hasn’t had time to heal.

Thanks Jay. Kinda what I thought but wanted another set of eyes on it.
Watch for worsening symptoms and any involvement of the other eye.

I agree on injury and not the type I recommend treatment for on my behalf but rather good water quality
Yep, water quality is good. He goes at it now and again with a purple tang. Just some common jousting but thinking that might be the cause. Thanks.

No worries. Yeah, this came up out of the blue so figured I’d use one of the many bennies of R2R to double check. :)
