Hi guys
Hopefully this is simple question

25g waterbox peninsula, 1200L/hr DC jeboa return pump and mlw jeboa wavemaker

Is there a standard formula for flow rate per tank size? My mushrooms seem to show more of a stalk now and smaller head than previously before I upgraded the return

There really can’t be a standard formula as all tanks are different. From Euphilia and Sea Horses (moderate flow) to Gorgonians and Acros (higher flow). Etc. In a 200 gallon reef one could easily have high flow in one area and dead spots in another. Making your ecosystem suitable for a wider variety of inhabitants. :)
