Hey all, for everyone that has done a floating aquascape before, what kind of adhesive did you use to mount your acrylic shelf to the back glass???

I used an aquarium safe silicone sealant on mine, let it cure for about 48hrs and it looked solid but after I stared gluing and mounting rocks to it, I woke up this morning to see it sitting at the bottom of the tank.

Any help would be appreciated

Not sure if you're still looking but I used this stuff to support a floating acrylic shelf in my tank:

It is advertised to be effective on plastics
It is NOT advertised as aquarium-safe - so just give it plenty of time to cure before getting the tank wet
