It can be done , you should have to make sure the flame hawk is fed enough
Several decades ago I remember having a shrimp eaten by a Flame but haven't tried since. Dealing with some parasites now and would love to introduce some cleaners if it were possible.

I currently have a small flame hawk and a blood shrimp in my 130, they stay relatively close without issue but I don't know what will happen when the Hawk doubles in size lol
I rolled the dice and took a shot.

I've had mine for almost 4 years and he's 3" long. Likely could make a meal of the shrimp OR the tiny little Yellow Watchman Goby I got from Biota, (barely an inch long). I've had that one for a couple months and only see him once every few weeks, usually after lights out.

What kind of shrimp is it that pairs up with My Yellow Watchman Goby? I wonder how things would go with those? Or a Blood Shrimp?
I also had a pistol shrimp which is what you're referring to. I didn't see it again until I removed the hawk but it survived.
