Fish is sick Clarkii and Blue hippo

This evening I noticed that clarkii is hanging on a side with puffy eyes and discoloration.. not sure if same is happening with hippo. Attaching pictures.. asked a great guy at lfs he recommended seachem metroplex but all the lfs were closed so I grabbed melafix from PetSmart and dosed along with stability. Questions and advice are welcome.

This is a protozoan infection caused by Brooklynella or Amyloodinium (velvet). Because the clownfish are the most affected, I would lean towards Brooklynella as being the cause. Formalin is the best treatment for that, but it is toxic to people and very difficult to source. Metroplex works in minor infections, but this seems pretty severe. Melafix is a "tonic" and despite their label notes, would not be expected to cure fish that are this sick. There is no oversight for fish medications in the US - as long as the product isn't dangerous to humans, you can sell really anything to "cure" fish diseases.

At this point, can you give the affected fish a 5 minute freshwater dip? That can buy you some time. then, I would try the metroplex, or metrocleanse.

So all three fishes died eventually and now I have few snails .. two shrimps a crab and one diamond sleeper goby left. How can I treat my tank now before introducing new fish ?

The sleeper goby has no symptoms at all, it is still eating well?

Normally, you would want to leave the tank "fallow", that is fishless, for 60 days. The goby being in the tank messes that idea up. It is possible for the goby to "carry" a subclinical infection of whatever killed the other fish, and then when you introduce new fish, they could get sick.

Normally, you would want to leave the tank "fallow", that is fishless, for 60 days. The goby being in the tank messes that idea up. It is possible for the goby to "carry" a subclinical infection of whatever killed the other fish, and then when you introduce new fish, they could get sick.

Goby is hiding under rocks most of the times and I can't see it unless I move rocks. It's very likely that the sickness came with goby since It was the last one to be added but looking healthy when I added. I don't have any quarantine setup to check the fish first before I add.

O.K., well, the goby may be sick and you just can't see it. Without a treatment tank, the best you can really do is let things ride and see how it does. If it is still doing well at, say 75 days, you are likely pretty safe to add new fish. However, if you don't quarantine those fish, there is always a risk that they will bring in some disease on their own.
Another option would be for you to buy pre quarantine fish going forward, or tank raised fish that have not been exposed to wild caught fish.

Well, you can't add any fish. If you add invertebrates, be sure they came from a tank with no fish in it, else you might move some new parasite over with them.
