  • Yes it's better to feed your fish slowly and methodically

I tried a "feed mode" a long time ago where the pumps are off for feeding and didn't feel that the fish ate as well.

So I just dump in the food and it gets blown all over the tank giving everybody an opportunity to eat. In nature anything they eat that's floating in the water is moving with the currents...

I've noticed that fish eat more aggressively when you keep the pumps on. Plus I'm to lazy to put my Nero 5's on feed mode.

I 3D printed this frozen food defroster and it's been great. I feel that having them get the food vs finding it has led to less waste. It also means less time waiting for food to defrost when I'm leaving for work in the morning...

I keep the pumps on and dump it all at once. If I didn't some of the more deliberate eaters would go hungry. As it is, I have no algae issues and all my fish are fat.

I picked other because its different based on what I'm feeding. When feeding lrs and nori all pumps on and frozen piece is clipped with a TLF feeding clip. If mysis or pellets I leave circulation pumps on but shut off sump pump.
