Hi All,
Been reading the forum for quite a bit (super helpful!) but it’s time to get some advice and share some info ;)
This is my first saltwater tank, intended to be a mixed one in about a year, fish only for now.
Due to a super small market my selection of equipment is incredibly limited, so here we go:
Maxspect Jump lights x2
Maxspect jump 2k gyre wavemakers x2
Aqua Medic SmartDrift 7.3 pumps x2
Maxspect duo skimmer
Maxspect 8k return pump
Aqua Medic UV light
waiting for:
RedSea ATO+
Hydros WaveEngine

Live rocks were a no-go here, got some dry rocks - these a super limited as well. At the moment I’m not super happy with the scape so would welcome any suggestions. One thing that bothers me is the flow on the sides of the overflow and in the caves - getting too much stuff collected there.

Going through the ugly stage so please ignore the greens :)

Nice tank, I had the same issue of detritus collecting behind my rock work in my previous setup. I recently upgraded my tank and this time I got some smaller power heads to blow out everything collecting behind my rock work. It’s been working well by blowing it all into the water column which then gets sucked up in my filter.
