Hey everyone this is my first saltwater tank/reef!! I’ve been learning a lot along the way and Im very happy with my progress.

I started out with the Fluval 13.5G Evo Saltwater kit that I got on-sale at the local fish store. I started out with a pair of clown fish and some starter coral to test everything out and I still have everything alive and well!

Along the way I decided to do some upgrades that I think have helped me a-lot along the way. Here is a list of everything that I have upgraded as I went on:

- Kessil A80 Tuna Blue
- Fluval Wave Maker
-inTank Media Basket in chamber 1 (Filter Floss, Carbon, and Chemipure Blue)
-Sicce 1.0 Water Pump
-Green Killing Machine UV Sterilizer

Since all these upgrades I have noticed better growth in my corals (SPS, Softies and LPS), less maintaince and also more clear water. Since I upgraded the light I had remove the factory lid so I got proper light and every 3-4 days I add about a 1/2 gallon of water and I do water changes every week to a week and a half.

I’m still learning a lot everyday but I hope this helps anyone who may have any questions.
