Ive had 2 colonies of fire and Ice and they always seem to darken out turning from blue to brown in the centre, is it generally a lack of light that causes this?

The rest of my colonys are showing great colour

Over my 40 gallon I have twin 150's 14k's and 4 actinics.

I had one do that too with another colony not 4 inches from it not shift pigments. I don't know what caused yours to shift but corals in genearl change due to ligthting and stress obviously, so you can try moving it around to different parts of your tank to see if it will color back up. I talked to a guy in hawaii at the WAC a few years ago who was telling me that a lot of blue zoanthids loose their color in aquariums quickly because the nutrient levels are so much lower and the water so much less turbid than where they come from in the solomon islands-almost sewage run-off areas. So you could always try peeing in your tank haha-jk. good luck
