I’m very new into the hobby and never done saltwater, I started with a 40 gallon freshwater tank back in November, then December 20th went to a Fluval Evo 13.5 gallon tank , then 7 days later I bought a 75 gallon tank with sump from a local who was getting out the saltwater field. He sold it with his livestock of fish and rocks. Went with a a bunch of buckets and two trucks and brought all the water and sand with so that I don’t have to restart the Nitrate cycle. We got everything up and running the same day. I wasn’t to comfortable with the syphoning set up so 3 days later we ended up buying the ProStar AIO 90 gallon. I did end up upgrading the sump the ProStar came with to a 29gallon sump tank. We have done a lot of research and been keeping up with the maintenance. Me and Wife really love how it’s been coming along and don’t regret the big jump to saltwater at all!
