Hi, I have some good quality filter socks size 4"x15" Heat sealed and fit stander 4" ring. Will also fit RedSea Reefer if you trim the filter socks ring. (I had a redsea 525xl)

As a hobbies, I know a good quality product when I see it. I am using these socks and i had mine washed 5-10 times with machine and reuse them. (try not to turbo wash)

Price is $15 for 5 socks shipped first class package (If you want to buy one is the same price, shipping cost too much). Local pick up always welcome. My zip is 11365.

Both 100 micron and 200 micron available. Each sock is individually packaged. New, Clean, No Odor. IMO better than most socks offered on the market.

****Waterbox owners. This filter socks will not sit flash or sit perfect with your sock holder. Triming the ring will only work for RedSea Reefer not waterbox. Don't try. ****

Yeah, basically the outer ring is too big for reefer. U need a scissor to cut the edge. Let me show u a filter socks on a reefer sump.

This sock is fitted with reefer sump in picture, cutting along the marked line will make the sock flash with the ring and still sit within. That how I been using it with my 525xl.

3 cut it off completely.

4 fit perfectly

Got you. The reason why I asked is that I ordered from amazon and it had a very strong chemical odor. I will consider and let you know if I need some. Glws

No chemical odor on this one for sure. These socks are on my tank full of SPS, LPS, Anemone. Won't risk it for any bad quality product.

I'd like 10 of these but don't know if I need the 100 or 200 micron version. Do you really need them as fine as 100? Also these are a couple inches longer than I need. It wouldn't hurt anything for 2" to be on the bottom of the sump would it?

Well, longer doesn't really matter, u just get a more material. As for 100 or 200. I personally like to use 100. People use 200 so they clean less often.

Get 5 of each. If you can run 2 socks then run 1 of each. If you can only run 1 then rotate. 100 will polish the water.

Really just pass down savings to you guys, so u can buy more coral with money saved. Hobby is getting expansive already, don't need another over priced filter socks.
