File fish QT with only aiptasia… how long til I should give in and feed it?

Had the idea to QT my mottled filefish in the 30 gallon before deciding to add it to reef. My initial strategy was just to put a rock from my display in there that has several aiptasia. I don’t think it has touched it. I have not fed the tank. This is since Saturday.

what’s everyone’s opinion on when I need to start offering some food?

Maybe I’ll target feed the aiptasia as a cruel joke for him. Think he’ll get the hint?
