Some of you may be confused but I couldn’t find a common name for this fish other than Filamentosa Goby and figured that would confuse some of you even more. So I figured some of you would recognise Prawn Goby from the cousin of this species - Discordipinna griessingeri or the Flaming Prawn Goby. However this guy is the Discordipinna filamentosa, a more yellow version of the griessingeri.

Im curious if you guys know if this fish has ever or even is in the hobby currently. It’s a beautiful fish I’d love to try house with my Griessingeri (Yes I have a ton of hiding spots but also this wouldn’t be a recent thing and would still be in the planning for a while).
Here’s a photo of what I mean by more yellow version by the way. Not my photo and is from a Reef Builders Article about this fish being newely described (Before July 2012 it was previously known as Discordipinna sp. 1).
