just feeding frozen Mysis shrimp 3/4 times a week right now.

For the goby or the pistol? Because the pistol seems to do alright, he moves it around like a little bulldozed. Built the goby a cave and then moved to the other side and built another.

Ignore him, your sand is fine if you like it. I use a similar mixed grain sand with my pistol and yellow watchman and they have been happy for years. Tank looks great for how old it is, excited to see how it matures.
