I really enjoy my feather dusters - They can go in spots where there isn't much light - they never bother anything - and are very cool to look at.
Here is my little troop of worms - Do many keep them? Any hints on keeping them healthy?

I dont have one yet, but I want one or two... Are they ok to keep close together?

I've only had these for a couple of months. You can see from my dendro in the foreground - my luck with non-photosynthetic organisms is not too stellar.
So far these feather dusters have been great...they filled in a spot which is heavily shadowed...they are very alive and interesting to watch...they spin as they expand...and can disappear in milliseconds.

A few more have popped up...so I assume they are taking care of their own spacing. I haven't target fed them...I add a cloud of phyto every so often (once or twice per week) but otherwise just stick to feeding the tank.

Yea - I knew I shouldn't have posted a picture - jinxed.

Tonight, my blue hippo tank was swimming around the tank with a feather duster crown in her mouth. She is such a pain in the tail - its always something with that fish. I had to take all the empty snail shells out of my tank because she dropped them on corals, she ate all my high end zoas, she snaps sps and shatters montiporas...

The feather duster appears fine - completely bald - but he was out quite a bit - I guess without his feathers he can't judge how far to extend. The worms themselves are quite ugly - like a black/brown bristleworm.
