so my lawnmower blenny has always been a chunky boy as he is only with some corals and 1 clownfish in my 29 gallon. So he gets to chow down on algae all day and he goes ham on the stuff. But I just wanted to share his glorious chunkyness. I have seen some chunky blenny pictures but I dont know if I have seen a fatter blenny. Show me your fat blennies!!! (sorry for the low quality image, he is a little skittish so I have to zoom in)

That’s a distended gut for sure. Still, you shouldn’t fat shame blimps for being overweight, it might give him a complex and he might stop eating.

I would agree with you that it could be a distended gut but I’ve seen a lot of blennies get chunky like this so im pretty sure its not a problem. He has done this before and he has always been a chunky boy

And trust me I praise the chunkyness as it’s rather silly and so far it doesn’t seem to be affecting his health.
